Glow Kit
An ubtan ritual, mixed the way weddings begin.
The idea
Every Indian wedding begins with it: the haldi, the ubtan, laughing relatives painting brides and grooms in turmeric and gram flour. That pre-ceremony glow was never bought — it was mixed in a steel bowl at home.
The Glow Kit is that bowl, packed to travel: single-origin turmeric, sandalwood, rose and besan, with a small bottle of virgin coconut oil to finish. A weekly face ritual measured in minutes of stillness rather than steps of a routine.
It is not stocked yet — we are still choosing every ingredient with the patience it deserves. Tell us you want it, and you will be the first to know.
The ritual
How we imagine this kit being used — slowly, and without hurry.
- 01
Mix
Spoon the ubtan into a bowl and stir in rose water — or plain water — until it comes together as a soft paste.
- 02
Apply
Smooth it over clean skin in slow upward strokes, then put the phone in another room. This part belongs to you.
- 03
Rest
Let it sit for ten quiet minutes, until it is just dry at the edges.
- 04
Seal
Rinse with cool water and press two drops of coconut oil into skin while it is still damp.
Inside the kit
Intended ingredients — final contents may evolve.
Turmeric (haldi)
The heart of every ubtan, traditionally used in bridal skin rituals across India.
Sandalwood (chandan)
Cooling and quietly fragrant, traditionally ground into pastes for the face.
Rose petal powder
Sun-dried petals, traditionally used to soften and gently scent the blend.
Besan (gram flour)
The base of a grandmother’s face care — traditionally used as a gentle, simple cleanser.
Virgin coconut oil
The finishing touch, traditionally pressed into damp skin to seal in softness.
Traditional wellness information, not medical advice.
